Serial hacker Mynar Lenahan has written up a whole new mystery to use with The Girls of the Genziana Hotel. It's called What Happened to Margo Kwan? and is set during the early 2000s in a small college town. I'll give the word to Mynar to tell you a little more:

You play as young college girls investigating their friend's disappearance in an American university town that doesn't even seem to acknowledge that she's gone. But the suspect list is long and the more you look into things, the more suspicious the situation becomes.

Play this if you're into heightened YA dramas, murder mysteries with cathartic endings, and soap operas with a strange, occult energy. You will also enjoy it if you want to look straight at the true, unadorned face of the patriarchy… and then punch that face in the face.

I'm obviously overjoyed. Since writing the ashcan I've had ideas going through my head for new stories to tell using the moves set—a medieval nunnery, a boarding school, a ballet academy—but these more modern vibes hadn't even crossed my mind yet.

I love the finer touches here too, such as the way Mynar has updated some of the moves the reflect the era. Everything that you recognize from base game might serve as a painful reminder of how much of our world has stayed the same since the nineteenth century...
