GENZEN

Premise

When the ronin first enter Genzen, it seems like a ghost town. It's dead quiet and the windows are boarded up. Moments later they find out the town is very much alive: two gangs fight daily in the streets, hoping to become the last one standing.

In this town for RONIN, you enter the town looking to deliver a letter to a run-away child. Once inside, you get swept up in the violence that holds Genzen in its grip. The leaders of both gangs take notice of you immediately. Will you find out what started the feud between them? Can you resist the great rewards a sin could bring you? Can you find a way to bring back peace to Genzen?

Inspiration

Genzen is very much inspired by Kurosawa's Yojimbo and its town torn apart by two rival gambling gangs. It is one of my favourite samurai movies and may be my favourite ronin film, so I couldn't resist introducing its strife to RONIN.
