When I released RONIN, I didn't just want to introduce a new playset into the AGON ecosystem. I wanted to write a collection of adventures for it as well.

Today, I released the first 'town' for RONIN – that's what islands are called in this playset. The town is called: GENZEN.

It's inspired by Kurosawa's Yojimbo and it's town torn apart by rival gambling gangs. The ronin will be swept up in the violence and drama of two gangs fighting in the streets, hoping to come out as the last one standing. Yojimbo is one of my favourite samurai movies and may well be my favourite ronin film, so I couldn't resist trying to bring it's strife to RONIN.
